Achieve excellence in education as you pursue your dreams.

Laurel Springs has long been the school of choice for children who seek flexibility and a college prep experience as they pursue their outside talents and interests.  Our courses are asynchronous, meaning that students do not all have to attend sessions at the same time.  Students are free to schedule their days and weeks in the best way to achieve all of their goals.

Athletes

Most college athletic programs are regulated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), an organization with rules and regulations on eligibility, recruiting, and financial aid. The NCAA has three membership divisions: Division I, Division II, and Division III. Colleges and universities are members of a division according to the size and scope of their athletic programs. Laurel Springs can help with academic planning for students who wish to pursue athletics at Division I or II colleges, as most of our courses are NCAA Division I and II approved.

Students who plan to enroll in college as a freshman and wish to participate in Division I or Division II athletics should take NCAA approved courses throughout high school. There are a number of special procedures to follow to make sure all documentation and requirements for NCAA eligiblity are met. Laurel Springs has a variety of resources to educate students about NCAA procedures. Be sure that your admissions coordinator is aware of any NCAA eligibility needs.

Performers

More than any other online school, Laurel Springs is known for working with students who are professional actors and performers.  Many of our alumni have gone on to become household names in the fields of acting, dance and music.  We work with students, their parents, advisors, and on set tutors to ensure that our young performers receive a quality college prep education while pursuing their dreams and ambitions.  In addition to all of the normal flexibility that Laurel Springs offers, many performers take advantage of our Personal Project Portfolio elective to synthesize their professional experiences with topics they are studying in school.
