Cody Allen Releases Debut Video |
|

A new film company, Warior Films released its first snowboard video, Civilians and has been drawing a lot of attention, including coverage from Snowboarder Magazine. What"s setting this film apart from all the others is it was shot and edited primarily by a 14-year old Laurel Springs student named Cody Allen. "He"s 14, but he put together a video that stands up…" said Brett Christie, local snowboarder and featured rider in Civilians. Cody, however, doesn"t want people to be all like, "Oh man, for a 14-year-old, this is a good film." He wants them to be like, "Oh, this is a good film," he said. " I would rather be compared to other people older than me, and know the realities of my film, than have people always saying it"s good because I"m 14."
Obviously, Allen is not the typical 14-year-old. He is driven, straightforward, and because he is home-schooled through Laurel Springs School, he associates mostly with people older than himself. Cody is well liked, though, for his good attitude about everything. Civilians premiered in New York, Boston, and Portsmouth, NH.
They can buy it by going to "greatcdscheap.com", in the Extreme Sports Videos section. Also available at many snowboard/skate shops in the country... | |
