Text-Based Curriculum 9th-12th
Laurel Springs School offers a comprehensive text-based program for students in grades 9-12 for one semester (18 weeks) or two semesters (36 weeks). A syllabus (study guide) is included with each course. With text-based courses in the core subject areas of English, Science, Math, Social Studies, Foreign Language and Fine Arts or elective subjects, students can prepare for college, complete honors-level work, or make up courses missed due to extenuating circumstances. All Laurel Springs textbooks are carefully chosen based on the quality of their academic content, their visual appeal, and their suitability for a wide range of learning styles.
Text-based courses are available for meeting graduation requirements, or for Honors and College Preparatory levels. Laurel Springs School offers a wide range of honors courses in the subject areas of English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Available in text-based or online format, our honors courses meet the needs of college-bound students seeking a challenging academic curriculum in an independent study environment. The honors program offers students an exciting opportunity to develop the critical thinking, research, and writing skills so essential to academic and professional success!
