Tanith Belbin and LSS in US Figure Skating magazine
We are pleased to share with you an article in the November 2006 issue of US Figure Skating
magazine titled "Schools of Thought: Skaters find education options that fit competitive careers."
In it, Laurel Springs School is highlighted as the premier distance learning program for skaters.
We are happy they chose to feature LSS in this article, as we are filled with pride for our
wonderful skaters, from alumni such as Tanith Belbin, Katie Orscher, Jena Fujimoto, Shayna Syken,
Andy and Lindsay Seitz, Alex Tregre, Tiffany St. Bernard, Megan Lindsay Doyle, Yebin Mok, Catherine
Rigoulot (just to name a few) to our up-and-coming stars such as Keiffer and Madison Hubbell,
Ross Miner, Nate Bartholomay, Cali Fujimoto, Nicholas Anderson, Chase Brogan, Sara Bailey, Lisa
and Brian Krentz, Amanda Dobbs, Meleah Hansen, Katie Dano, Meghan Power, Marissa Spector, Daniel
Raad, Edward Sprogis and oh, so many more!
Yes, for skaters, LSS is possibly too good to be true! As Tanith Belbin says, Laurel Springs
is "a school that you can actually mold around your own schedule, so you can reach your full potential
in both aspects of your life: your career and your education."
