Enrolled In Wrong School? It’s Not Too Late

Has your child started the school year off to a bad start?

If your child has started public or private school and is unhappy, unmotivated and not learning well, it’s not too late to change schools. Your child’s education, happiness, and self esteem may be at stake. It’s not too late to change schools. Laurel Springs School has an open enrollment which means students can enroll any day of the year.

If a child is unhappy at school, it is best to remove him or her from the situation immediately and place them in a healthy learning environment. At Laurel Springs we strongly believe that a child’s self-esteem should be preserved at all costs. If your child is not learning well due to a learning or behavioral challenge such as ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s or other challenge, is being picked on by a bully, or is bored in class because they are gifted, distance learning at Laurel Springs could be the answer. Every student at Laurel Springs gets a wide range of support from our enrollment counselors, staff and teachers.

Credit Transfer

With open enrollment at Laurel Springs our Education Department works with each family to determine which credits will transfer from their previous school. We use skill assessments and criteria to make sure each student can use as many credits as possible. If starting mid-term, students are not required to start at the beginning of a course.

Opening the Door of Opportunity
Some students use distance learning for their entire education while other students learn at home for a year or two. Many of our students begin in elementary school and stay at Laurel Springs until their graduation day. Laurel Springs offers parent training courses to help with the transition from site-based learning to home-based learning.

It’s never too late to make a difference in your child’s life.
