Laurel Springs School
Begins a New Chapter
of the National Honor Society
Laurel Springs School is proud to be the first private school offering distance-learning curricula to establish a chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). Membership in the NHS is an honor that recognizes academic achievement and service within the community, as well as personal character and leadership. The Laurel Springs Chapter of the National Honor Society provides a unique forum in which the student leaders of our school and community can join with others in their desire to change the world. Our students have a history of distinguished service, both in their home communities and the global arena. Along with our School Director Marilyn Mosley Gordanier, LSS students are recognized as Laureates of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) for outstanding environmental work!
