Marilyn Mosley Gordanier, speaker, author and founder of Laurel Springs School. In 1991, before most schools had even dreamed of having a computer in every classroom, Marilyn capitalized upon a now-common education tool, the Internet, creating the first-ever online school for K-12 grade—Laurel Springs. Although Marilyn has reached her dream of educating kids across the globe, she feels there is so much more for her to accomplish. In addition to writing two books on alternative education, Marilyn is currently the president of the Global 500 forum for the United Nations. This position allows her to be a steward for education worldwide, including interacting with presidents, world leaders and administrative principals.
