Online Interactive Gradebook

Laurel Springs online interactive gradebook where 24 hour access to student grades and progress in all coursework, text or online, may be viewed by the student and parents online. The gradebook will allow students and parents to message or receive messages from teachers and enjoy an ongoing exchange of communication. Additionally, the gradebook will provide reminders for students to stay up-to-date on coursework to ensure that each student has a successful school year.

National Honor Society (NHS)

Laurel Springs School is proud to be the first private school offering distance-learning curricula to establish a chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). Membership in the NHS is an academic honor recognizing academic achievement and service in school projects, as well as personal character and leadership. The Laurel Springs School Chapter of the National Honor Society provides a unique forum in which to continue to recognize outstanding scholastic achievements, character, leadership, and service in our students and teachers. College Services

We develop a personalized academic plan for every high school student and track their progress. Our college prep programs empower students and prepare them for college. College Prep Program with MyEdge powered by Peterson's, is an online resource center for the self-directed student. Premier College Prep Program with CollegeKey is a highly personalized college prep and placement service where the student works closely with a coach/mentor. Family Center

Our Family Center website provides students and parents with the latest information about prom, graduation, and other services at Laurel Springs. Students share photos and experiences at the student galleries, email staff, login access for parents and students to the gradebook and student courses, and much more. Visit our Family Center!

We understand distance learning and respect your lifestyle. We do everything we can to help our students succeed in their life goals and education. Teachers and administrative staff understand life's ups and downs and work with each student to make sure they are on the right road to academic success. Extensions are available and our teachers are always available for help with assignments.

Registration can begin at any time. Our pricing makes it easy to enroll year-round and join the Laurel Springs distance learning community.

Creativity

We offer text-based, web-based, College Prep, Honors and AP curricula for distance learning. Courses and assignments can be individualized to match your changing needs. Students can earn elective credit for travel, athletics, art, music, drama, research, etc. Take a look at our course offerings.

Security

We offer student identification cards to enrolled students to verify participation in Laurel Springs School. We maintain all school health and academic records, accept course credits from previous private or public schools, and provide diplomas and transcripts. We ensure that all students take the courses required for admission to the college or university of their choice.

Support

Our teachers and enrollment advisors are just a phone call away five days a week. Whatever you need, just let us know. We are here to help. Our teachers grade all 18 lessons per semester. Laurel Springs doesn't believe in automated grading. Our teachers know how their students are doing because they are in close contact. Our students say we are "a school with heart." It's true. Our teacher-advisors and support staff will help you get the best education possible.

Training

We provide parents with an online quarterly journal—with a focus on giving parents and home mentors the tools for a positive experience with home education and Laurel Springs.

Feedback

We provide semester reports and transcripts for high school students. Our advisors are available for consultation at any time and provide ongoing feedback and support.
